I found elegance and grace to be helpful in many unpleasant situations… Maybe we just need to hold on to certain things in order to get over some hard times 🙂
Such an incredible image…so serene. It’s interesting what crosses your path as a photographer. Sunday morning, we looked out across the bay and saw a black ship that looked like a pirate ship. They are filming the latest addition to Pirates of the Caribbean on the Australian Gold Coast and we thought it might have been the Black Pearl. However, it turned out to be a replica of a 17th century Portuguese caravel. We paddled up to it on the kayak and it was incredible. So unexpected!! UNfortunately, couldn’t get close enough to get a decent photo and wasn’t about to take the camera on the kayak. Thank goodness for Facebook. I found it there and am following its journey.
It must have been great to see it up close like that, even if you didn’t manage to take a photo. That’s definitely a more shocking apparition than my swan on the lake 🙂 Unexpected moments like that one are such a treat!
Bravo! A great photo capture Ana. Many times that outstanding photo is the one that observant, patient and creative photographers happen upon. This is a dramatic photo that creates a tranquil mood for the viewer. Thank you for sharing. I hope that you stumble upon more of these creative gems. 🙂
I like swans too. And flowers.

“There can be elegance and grace even in keeping afloat…”
Very rightly expressed! Glad to see this photograph of the white beauty.

I’m really glad it helped 🙂 Unfortunately, there are moments when all we can do is not sink. Let’s hope they don’t last too long…

Thank you 🙂 The swan was really friendly, it came very close to people, waiting to be fed. It wasn’t camera shy at all 🙂

Great minds think alike. I had a swan for the challenge, too. You’ve got that really nice touch of the reflection, though. I’m envious. 🙂
