The faces we see in public are people’s public faces. Can the camera capture the face behind the face?

I can’t decide whether having such a device would make life a lot simpler or more depressing…

Most other faces are mostly mundane, but some can do harm if you can’t recognize that face. What is my other face? Insecurities, depression and other “delights” I see no point in burdening others with that other face.

Those delights lurk behind most of the blank faces around, I bet. Noticing the ones hiding much worse than that, the ones from which we might need to protect ourselves, could be helpful though. Ignoring them doesn’t necessarily make them go away.

Thank you! βΊοΈ I am so happy Glai agreed to join me there, to think we only saw 10% of the popular places to visit! π

There’s never enough time to see everything we’d like to when traveling, that much I learnt; so I take every new place that I manage to visit as a victory and enjoy it, trying not to regret what I missed. Besides, what matters most is the time you spent together π .

Indeed π I won’t deny it, sometimes a phone can be quite a helpful hiding place when we really feel the need to avoid a person/situation, but let’s not make a habit of it. We miss out on so many of life’s delicious moments this way…
