Feel free to peek π you might be disappointed though. Sorry I didn’t get around to sending you any pics of those tomato plants yet, I will make up for it (and I haven’t forgotten about the mountain trip photos either). π

no worries – I know we are busy and any requests are always with grace and follow up is optional – seriously – and you said you “might” have some – so take ur time.
and I just removed a third tomato hornworm this morning – was shocked – thought the two I took off last week were all there was – and this little fat hornworm did some damge over the last few days – not that i care as the season winds down – but wow –

Disgusting little creatures, they are… and they can do so much damage, so quickly. I was lucky this year, nothing attacked my plants. I think it may have had something to do with the fact that they kept spraying the area for mosquitos and such all summer…The difference was noticeable, I have to admit. π

well I bet that spraying helped- and am grateful we have spraying here too (and I know there are caveats to that…) anyhow, that is why i cannot grow zuchinni or squash – the pests love them too much – but for some reason peppers, tomatoes and basil (and mint and onions) stay left alone…. and thrive

Good reason to avoid growing them π A couple of caterpillars devoured my basil and then started on the geraniums last year, that’s why I was really pleased not have to deal with them this summer.

Thank you, Carol π . Welcome back!
And talk about wonderful literary surprises… I’ve read your book “Mourning Has Broken”. All I’m going to say now is that I was impressed. The rest I’m saving for the review π .
