Self-Publishing Decisions…

Since I opted for self-publishing several people have asked me if my books were available on Amazon as well. My answer has invariably been that they weren’t, but I was considering the option. Yes, I was occasionally considering it… most of the time, I was reconsidering considering it. For many reasons, it hadn’t been my first choice – I preferred having complete freedom over pricing options, scheduling giveaways as often and for as long as I chose etc.

But… as a reader, I often choose Amazon and Kindle books, even if for no other reason but that I’m just too lazy to set up a new account if I don’t already have one with another retailer. So with that in mind, I have decided to bite this particular bullet… even if, as an indie author, I still have the same misgivings. (That’s why I didn’t make too big a fuss about it.)

Why now? On one hand, because I’ve procrastinated enough; on the other, because I was pushed into giving the matter more thought than usual while I was putting the finishing touches on a new book. But more on that at a later time 🙂 . For now, I’ll just say that this is why I didn’t put too much effort into my blog posts recently and I’ve also missed some of yours; many of my blog related activities have been replaced by this particular endeavour. I know, I know, excuses, excuses… 😉

Well, my friends, here it is! Parallel Lives and Glass Slippers and Stilettos are now available on Amazon. 🙂

Happy reading, everyone!

I’ve only used Amazon although I know that there are a few others highly recommended by fellow writers.

    1. Thank you, Carol! 🙂 ❤ I will reveal everything soon.
I finally read "The Longest Nine Months" a couple of weeks ago and it was as enjoyable as I expected it to be. A delight, as always 🙂 . Writing its review is on my to do list, even if it might take another week or so until I get to it.
