Cars look newish, the houses certainly don’t ….Romania again?? I was helped down a tricky slope (for me) the other day, and I asked the young stranger where he was from. Romania said he, so I said multo mesc (thank you) the only words I know in Romanian….he was impressed!

Once again, you’re right. The houses were certainly much older than the cars. 🙂
I’m sure your “thank you” was a very nice surprise for the young man, I bet he didn’t expect to hear it in Romanian.
